Help Out on Trail Work Day

Missouri was recent¬ly named “Best Trails State” in America by the American Trails organization. Help make a mark on a St. Charles County Park by participating in a Trail Work Day on Saturday, June 1, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., at Indian Camp Creek Park, 2679 Dietrich Rd. (off Highway 61 at the Farris Rd. Exit) near Wentzville. Park Volunteers 1000 Wide 20130523The Parks Department is seeking volunteers to assist with the development and maintenance of our parks’ trail system. Bring a set of gloves, a pair of sturdy boots and some safety glasses and do your part to grow our parks.

In addition to the Trail Work Day, families are encouraged to get outdoors and celebrate National Trails Day. St. Charles County Parks has more than 41 miles of paved and natural-surface trails for hiking, biking and equestrian use to explore throughout 10 parks currently open to the public.
